Bring on Christmas Day 2007
Christmas Day is only a few days away now and I’m looking forward to it. This Christmas, I’m having the best of everything that I would like to do on Christmas Day. In the morning I’m going to Church at Adelaide West Uniting Church (312 Sir Donald Bradman Drive, Brooklyn Park). The service will be fairly short, possibly under an hour. It will be good to catch up with my church family. If you haven't been to church of late yet something is niggling in you, I encourage you to check out a church this Christmas. If you are close to Adelaide West I know you will be welcomed.
After Church I will head home to prepare for Christmas lunch with friends. I am having an open house from 11am to about 4pm, which one of my good mates, Wayne, is helping me with. We did a similar Christmas lunch two years ago and all who came had a ball. In the late afternoon my brother, David, and his wife, Amanda, will be picking me up to head to our parent’s in the hills. Rather than buying everyone in the family a present each I am providing Christmas dinner as my gift, which is heaps of seafood. I’m looking forward to sharing with my family this delicious meal.
That will be my Christmas Day for 2007, full of sharing with many friends and dear ones. I hope you can catch the joy of Christmas this Christmas; a joy that goes deep into your heart and last for eternity.
